WHAT WE BELIEVE:
The Bible is the inspired Word of God by which we will one day be judged.
The Bible must be our authority for that which we teach and practice.
Christ is the only Head of the church (Colossians 1:18)
Men who meet the qualifications set forth in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9 are to be appointed as elders (also called shepherds or bishops) to oversee the local congregation. Serving under the elders are deacons ( I Timothy 3:8-13), preachers (Romans 10:14) and all other members (Hebrews 13:17).

- Believe that Jesus is God's Son (John 8:24)
- Repent of past sins (Luke 13:3)
- Confess our faith in Christ as God’s Son (Acts 8:37; Romans 10:10).
- Be baptized for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38). When we obey the Lord in baptism, we are then added to the saved (church) as stated in Acts 2:47.
- We must then diligently strive to live a faithful Christian life (I Peter 2:21 -22 |
